- A total of six mixed teams made up of eight players from several European countries participate in the first golf tournament edition.
- The Tournament will take place in three of the best golf courses in Mallorca: Pula Golf, Golf Son Servera and Golf Son Gual.
- During the next three days of the tournament, participants compete and have access to the sports center’s facilities in Manacor as well as attend a dinner in the trophy room of the Rafa Nadal Museum Xperience.
Rafa Nadal Sports Centre organizes for the first time, the Rafa Nadal Golf Challenge by Sotheby’s International Realty; an international golf tournament with participants from different European countries. The tournament is scheduled to take place from February 15th – 18th in the golf courses of Pula Golf, Golf Son Serverea and Golf Son Gual in Mallorca.
During this first edition of the Tournament, the completion formula is composed of six mixed teams with eight players each, played under the Stableford individual modality. All the participants have the opportunity to meet and compete on three major golf courses in Mallorca during a weekend full of competition and fun.
Rafa Nadal Golf Challenge by Sotheby’s International Realty begins on February 15th with the arrival of the participants at the Rafa Nadal Sports Centre facilities in Manacor. A reception for the guests as well as a welcome pack with program details will be handed out in addition to a special welcome dinner where the draw of the Tournament will take place.

The following day, participants go to Pula Golf to play an individual competition where the best five cards of each team are chosen and count toward the final result. Lunch follows in the same golf course and dinner will be held for all the guests in Palma, courtesy of Sotheby’s International Realty.
On Saturday, February 17th, the tournament continues in Golf Son Servera. After the competition, there will be wine tasting in the afternoon with wines from Castello Banfi winery at the Rafa Nadal Sports Centre facilities, followed by a visit to the Rafa Nadal Museum Xperience and dinner in the museum’s trophy room. Here guests can enjoy dinner as they are surrounded by the trophies of the tennis legend, as well as other donations from international athletes that make up the museum’s collection in Manacor. There are 16 Grand Slam trophies of the tennis player on display, the car which led to Fernando Alonso’s winning the World Championship, the “Espada” from Induráin, the golf bag Capitan Ryder Cup 1997 of Severiano Ballesteros, and t-shirts and soccer boots from different soccer athletes. A flamenco show follows dinner as well as a tasting of Royal Bliss.
The last day of the Tournament takes place in Golf Son Gual on Sunday, February 18th ending with a lunch and an awards ceremony.

All tournament participants stay at the Rafa Nadal Sports Centre which includes a welcome dinner, free access to the 3,000m2 Fitness Centre, indoor semi-Olympic 25-meter pool, Wellness Spa, transfer service, tournament and green fees for the team at the three golf courses in addition to a provisioning service and buggy rental.
This also includes a guided visit and dinner at the Rafa Nadal Museum Xperience, a Spanish party with live music, wine tasting from the Castello Banfi winery, a gastronomy corner with Balearic gourmet products in the clubhouse of all three golf courses, special activities, grand prizes and drawings.
